AI Clones Exist—Now What?

There’s been a lot of excitement around AI clones—people experimenting with digital versions of themselves. But most haven’t actually benefited from their clones in any meaningful way. We’re now moving past the phase of just creating them for the sake of it and into the question of how do we actually use them?

Beyond Looks and Voice—What’s Worth Scaling?

For many of us, the most valuable thing isn’t how we look or sound—it’s our ideas, expertise, and body of work. Up to now, AI clones have mostly been about visuals and voice. But what about the brain? How do we capture what we know in a way that’s useful?

This is where things get interesting. Instead of just making digital versions of ourselves that can talk, we’re starting to see AI that thinks and responds based on our knowledge.

AI That Works for You

Platforms like Wizly (who I advise) are making it possible to train AI twins on everything you’ve written, said, or created—so instead of just mimicking you, they can actually be a reservoir of your expertise. But it goes beyond that.

An AI twin isn’t just an extension of you—it can be enriched with relevant knowledge, which makes it more valuable and even more useful than you in some situations. If you’re a consultant, your AI twin could serve clients by pulling in real-time insights to strengthen its advice. If you’re an investor, your AI twin could help founders by offering instant feedback on their pitch—evaluating fit faster and with more depth, because it’s not just trained on your past thinking, but continuously updated with relevant intelligence.

This ability to layer in new knowledge makes AI twins more than just digital versions of ourselves. They become dynamic, evolving systems that offer unique value—sometimes even more value than we could in the moment.

Thoughtful AI—Not Everything Needs to Be Cloned

Not every part of us needs to be replicated. The goal isn’t to create endless versions of ourselves, but to be intentional about what’s worth scaling. Instead of trying to do it all, the real value comes from focusing on what we uniquely bring to the table and how AI can amplify that.
